Pharma Integrity’s signatory course goes online

The COVID-19 situation has forced all of us to change how we do things, and Pharma Integrity is no different.  Whilst we may be subject to restrictions, (and dare I say it, lockdown, - sorry Leo, I know you’d prefer we didn’t use that word), we are not shut down.

We have had to apply a lot of effort, but we’ve managed to restructure our signatory training course to allow it to be provided remotely online.  Whilst we would have much preferred to host our delegates at the prestigious Law Society of Ireland, we know that face-to-face meetings as we’re used to them just aren’t going to be feasible for a significant period of time.  We will therefore be running regular remote training sessions over the course of the summer for a small number of delegates per session (approx. 5-8 at a time).  This is fewer than we would have participate in our regular sessions, but has been planned to support how different this learning experience will be for our delegates compared to normal.  The training comprises a “getting to know you” interview with course leader Caroline Kelly, preparatory work, four morning sessions (08:30-13:00), a viva, and practical validation.  All participants who complete the validation will be awarded a certificate of completion which will demonstrate their in-depth knowledge of the IPHA Code and Irish legislation associated with the promotion of prescription medicines in Ireland.
